Mediation

A Property Dispute Mediation is a cost-effective and expedient way to resolve issues involved in a claim that has ended at an impasse. We will thoroughly review the facts, damages, photos, reports, and estimates and present our client’s position to the insured’s representative and mediator. We will attempt to reach a settlement based on the authority granted to us by our clients.

Calibrated Insurance Services, LLC has professional mediation representatives available. We will offer the representative most qualified to achieve a successful resolution. Please contact us if you would like to discuss our mediation representation service.

Pre-Litigation

A trained expert from our team will perform an unbiased review of the claim history. A Calibrated professional will complete a pre‐litigation, videotaped inspection of the loss location and all damages to document the property in its current condition. We will then compare it with the evidence gathered by the insurance adjuster(s), engineer(s), vendor(s), etc. following the loss.

This is very important as we can document and testify regarding repairs that have or have not been completed. Additionally, we will determine if the current demand for indemnity is consistent with the date of loss, cause of loss, and industry standards for what is reasonable, fair, and customary.

Assignment of Benefits

Our IICRC/WRT (water damage restoration) or AMRT (mold and sewer remediation) Certified Professionals will assist in moving the file forward in a positive and cost‐effective manner. This can be handled from the desk or in the field, as a task assignment or as an appraisal.
